Lieutenant John Harry Caudell 

John Caudell was born in St Pancras, London in 1897 to John and Mary W Caudell of Thames Bank, Taplow of Buckinghamshire.

John served as a pilot in the military unit of the 211 Training Depot Station of the Royal Air Force in the First World War. The training station was in Portholme, located between Huntingdon and Godmanchester. His aircraft, a DH6 C7683, spun whilst turning into the aerodrome on 1st July 1918 and he died of injuries sustained in the crash.

He is buried in grave number R38 in Priory Road Cemetery in Huntingdon.
