Sapper Ernest Lewis Albert Thomas

Ernest Thomas was born in Elsternwick, Victoria, Australia to Lewis Roland Thomas and Ellen Thomas of Huntley Street, Glenhuntly, Victoria in 1889.

He served as a Sapper in the 10th Field Coy Battalion of the Australian Engineers Regiment in the Australian Army and was appointed to the 10th Field Coy Engineers on 29th May 1916 in Seymour.

He died on 5th June 1917 aged 28 and is buried in grave number RRR.36 in Priory Road Cemetery, Huntingdon.
